Payroll Officer - Part Time or Full Time We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. This position has the option to work remotely if preferred.  ABOUT IWC: IWC is an Aboriginal community-controlled and multi-accredited health and wellbeing organisation. We deliver services without discrimination to Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Bundaberg and the Wide Bay Burnett.  DUTIES: Process payroll for approximately 200 employees accurately and on time. Calculate wages, overtime, and deductions based on data Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave, and other relevant information. Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed. Stay updated on relevant legislation and awards.  Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters. Collaborate with HR and finance  teams to ensure payroll data integrity. Assist with payroll-related projects and initiatives as needed. REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role. Strong understanding of payroll principles, laws, and regulations. Proficiency in payroll software Human Force (or similar) and MS Office, including Excel. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, but not essential.  KEY REQUIREMENTS: A current driver's licence or ability to obtain.  A First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain. A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain. A Blue Card (Working with Children Card QLD)* or ability to obtain. * No Card, No Start legislation means that the successful applicant will need to hold a valid blue card before they start work. IWC will cover the cost of this application for the successful candidate.  SALARY PACKAGE: Your Salary Package is made up of the following: -  Salary Sacrifice Packaging valued up to $15,990 per annum – adding approximately $4,000 to your take-home pay (available after completion of probation). Meals and Entertainment Package up to $2,600 per annum (available after completion of probation). 9-Day Fortnight (for full-time staff). Superannuation valued at 11%.
