We are looking for a mid-level payroll officer to support a client in Melbourne's CBD for a temporary contract.
They offer a very flexible hybrid working environment and are using ADP.
This contract role will be for a minimum of 6 months with possible extension.
Job Responsibilities As a Payroll Officer reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, your core responsibilities will include:
Efficiently coordinating end to end payroll operations using ADPReconciliation of employee pay and accrued leave entitlements.Managing the processing of documentation for new hires and departures.Providing timely and accurate responses to payroll inquiries from employees.Facilitating payroll adjustments for salary increments and contributing to month-end and year-end procedures.Undertaking various administrative duties, such as file maintenance, creation of new employee records, distribution of starter kits, and managing the process for police checks, including reimbursing associated expenses.Successful Candidate Prior experience with ADPPrior payroll experience, ideally 2-3 yearsStrong time management and organisational capabilitiesSolid verbal and written communication proficiencyThis role will be starting as soon as possible so we would ideally like to speak to candidates who are immediately available or have a short notice period.
