Payroll Officer | $40-$45Ph| Northern Suburbs | Temp

The Company Robert Half is currently recruiting an experienced Payroll officer for a highly regarded and well respected not for profit company based in the Northern suburbs.
This role will be temporary for 3 months with the potential for more long-term opportunity.
Proven complex payroll experience with the ability to work with complex payroll systems, award rates and salary packaging will be an advantage for the successful candidate.
This role offers part-time or full time, depending on the successful candidate's preference!
The Role Reporting to the finance manager, your duties will include: High Volume Payroll processing on a bi-weekly and monthly basis Adhering to a large amount of award and EBA rates Accurate entering of new staff data Processing of Salary packaging / entitlements Ensure wages and Tax payments are compliant with regulation Mentoring and overseeing of the payroll team Ad-hoc duties as requested Your Profile To be successful you will have proven experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
The following attributes will also be highly advantageous: Confident in high volume payroll Excellent Attention to detail Payroll/HRIS systems experience Excellent Organisational Skills Excellent communication skills Ability to meet deadlines Ability to work in a team The successful candidate will be immediately available, driven, focused, and dedicated to the company goals while maintaining a high calibre workflow.
This role will be predominantly on-site with some flexibility given over time.
