Our client is an industry leading organisation who are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organisation committed to excellence and innovation in everything they do. They are seeking a strong leader to take ownership of their Payroll function.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the payroll function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees across 5 entities. You will manage a team of payroll specialists and work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Experience with Chris21 or Dayforce payroll software is essential for this role.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.Manage and mentor a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance and support as needed.Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll, including salary payments, bonuses, and deductions.Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.Handle complex payroll queries and resolve issues in a timely manner.Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and agreements.Prepare and submit payroll reports to senior management and external bodies as required.Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and best practices.Conduct regular audits to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll management.Extensive experience with Chris21/Dayforce payroll software.Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards, and agreements.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to manage and lead a team.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.On Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Please apply or contact ******
