A project that will leave a legacy for a lifetime.The Payroll Manager will oversee and manage payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.Required Competencies: Extensive knowledge of payroll functionsPreparation, balancing, internal control and payroll taxesProficient with PrecedaExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsCore Accountabilities & Responsibilities:Implement, maintain & review payroll processing system ensuring timely & accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes & other deductionsAdvising payroll team members about taxes & employment laws on salaryCalculating wage increments, overtime payments & public holiday payEnsures accurate & timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations & changes to pay ratesPrepare & maintain accurate records & reports of payroll transactionsEnsures compliance with federal, state, & local payroll, wage & hour laws & best practicesFacilitate audits by providing records & documentation to auditorsIdentify & recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems & proceduresOversees the daily workflow of the departmentProvide constructive & timely performance evaluationsQualifications & Experience:Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fieldMinimum 10+ years' experience in PayrollProficient with Preceda Payroll System #J-18808-Ljbffr
