The Role You will take full responsibility for our payroll and ensure that employees are paid accurately and timely. Your responsibility includes processing of all facets of the fortnightly payroll, from entering leave forms to balancing payroll. You will also get involved in answering employee queries and other duties as required to day-to-day running of payroll reporting directly to the Administration Manager.
Daily tasks and responsibilities Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
End to end payroll processing of fortnightly payrollBack Pay and Termination calculations including RedundanciesAll compliance matters relating to Payroll (including Superannuation) and related taxesProcess end of month and end of year proceduresPayroll System AdministrationMaintaining staff recordsAnswering all payroll queriesPayroll reconciliationsOrganised and Methodical approach to PayrollManagement reportingEmployment Agreement and Modern Awards InterpretationMaintaining personnel files and record keepingYour Profile To be considered for this exciting position you will need to have:
Strong end to end payroll experienceStrong understanding of superannuation, workers compensation, payroll and PAYG tax and termination paymentStrong Payroll Systems experience, preferably in PrecedaExperience with time and attendance systemGreat attention to detail and accuracyStrong time management skills with an ability to prioritise and adhere to tight timelines / deadlinesExcellent problem solving skillsAbility to independently research and interpret all aspects of payroll and related tax regulationsExcellent communication skills that allow you to communicate with all levels of the businessA very positive attitude and outgoing personality along with the ability to fit into a great team environmentAdvanced skills in MS Excel and MS WordExperience with Award and Enterprise Agreement interpretationA current valid Driver's licence and access to own transportSubject to a satisfactory criminal check.
