Payroll Assistant

About the role Working in our payroll team, you will be involved in all aspects of payroll ranging from receiving timesheets and assisting with processing payroll for 300+ employees and end of month returns and reconciliations.
We are located at Ormeau, central to both Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Key Responsibilities: Receiving, coding and entering weekly timesheetsAssist with processing weekly payroll and adjustment payrolls as requiredInterpreting various EBA's in conjunction with the Building and Construction General On-Site Award 2020Ensuring payroll system is kept up to date including pay rates, allowances, super, tax, entitlements, etc..Set up and maintain employee information in the payroll systemAssist in the preparation and lodgement of superannuation, redundancy, income protection, child support and payroll tax returns monthlyProvide admin support as required Successful Applicants will have: Experience in high-volume payroll data entryYou will have extensive experience interpreting Awards/Agreements for pay rates and conditionsExcellent time-management skills and attention to detailExperience using Sage 300 CRE will be highly regardedCompetency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and AccessAbility to communicate effectively with employees and clients
