About the Role Base Location: Perth

As a Payroll Analyst, you'll play a vital role in supporting our payroll function, reporting directly to the Head of Payroll. This fixed-term position offers the opportunity to be at the heart of key compliance activities, ensuring a smooth and efficient payroll service. Your analytical skills will be put to good use as you extract and interpret payroll data, providing crucial insights to meet the needs of the role. You'll collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, gathering and processing information accurately to meet payroll deadlines. The main responsibilities of the role include:
Accurate and timely reconciliation of payroll control accounts and bank accounts on a monthly basis. Pre-payroll run administration of company benefits. Reconciliation and payment of third party benefit schemes on a monthly and quarterly basis. Involvement in key audit and reporting activities across the department. Administration of all payroll legislative tasks associated with employee travel between the UK and ROI in accordance with the Cross Border Travel Procedure. What do I need? To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
Strong analytical skills with experience of working with financial and sensitive data, efficient and driven to deliver high-quality work. Advanced skills in Excel and experience of using multiple systems. Experience in working to multiple legislative and business deadlines. Strong relationship management skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels. Previous experience of working within a payroll or finance function.
