Pay rate between $43.08-$46.34/hr.
Our client is the largest regional Community Legal and Advocacy Centre in Queensland, providing legal, advocacy and social services to vulnerable and marginalised people across Toowoomba, Ipswich, Roma, the Southern Downs and Southwestern Queensland.
We are currently seeking a part-time Payroll and Accounts Payable Officer (3 days per week) to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Payroll and Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for managing the accounts and payroll functions for the business and providing support in relation to financial documentation, maintaining financial records, and undertaking general administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities Include:Assisting with Accounts Payable functionsManaging payroll operationsCoordinating salary sacrificing transactionsMaintaining employee records such as TOIL, leave and flexible work arrangementsProcessing PAYGW and Superannuation paymentsProcessing supplier paymentsPerforming bank reconciliationsMinimum Requirements:Applicants for this role should possess the following skills and experience:
A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a similar Finance-based role, including Bookkeeping, financial reporting and use of accounting-based software (Xero and Reckon desirable)Completion of a relevant Certificate of qualification in a Business-related field such as Bookkeeping, Accounting, or AdministrationBroad knowledge of a wide range of software environments, including Office 365, MS Excel and SharepointStrong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skillsOur client is paying to SCHADS Award Level 4 which is an hourly rate ranging from $43.08 to $46.34.
