About the roleAs a Payment Solutions Officer, you will help manage a portfolio of accounts effectively to reduce the overall arrears rate for the wider business, always striving to deliver an excellent outcome for our customers even in times of hardship.
Help handle incoming and outgoing phone and email inquiries related to payments, manage customer requests, review account adjustments, and resolve issues with client payments.Identify the cause of customer overdue payments and engage in discussions to find solutions, such as setting up payment plans.Recognise early signs from customers who might be facing financial troubles or suggesting problems with their cash flow and take appropriate actions in line with regulatory requirements.Be responsible for managing and monitoring designated accounts, including handling customer calls, making account adjustments, handling minor balance write-offs, conducting customer reconciliations, and processing credit memos.Create and uphold productive and collaborative working connections.Engage in training sessions and receive consistent ongoing coaching and assistance.Please note that this is a 12-month contract to start in December 2024. About you- You are an outstanding communicator. Your interpersonal, motivational and relationship building skills are second to none. You can flex your communication style to respond to many different types of people. You'll engage with a wide variety of customers in this role.- Your ability to think critically and problem-solve, while exercising a strong attention to detail is strong.- You are highly empathetic and are comfortable liaising with customers who may be challenging. You seek to understand where your customers are coming from.- Troubleshooting and problem-solving come naturally to you. You have a knack for fixing things and getting to the crux of the problem.- You have collections experience using email and phone, with both inbound and outbound customers.
