About the role As a Payment Solutions Officer, you will help manage a portfolio of accounts effectively to reduce the overall arrears rate for the wider business, always striving to deliver an excellent outcome for our customers even in times of hardship.
Help handle incoming and outgoing phone and email inquiries related to payments, manage customer requests, review account adjustments, and resolve issues with client payments. Identify the cause of customer overdue payments and engage in discussions to find solutions, such as setting up payment plans. Recognise early signs from customers who might be facing financial troubles and take appropriate actions in line with regulatory requirements. Be responsible for managing and monitoring designated accounts, including handling customer calls, making account adjustments, handling minor balance write-offs, conducting customer reconciliations, and processing credit memos. Create and uphold productive and collaborative working connections. Engage in training sessions and receive consistent ongoing coaching and assistance. Please note that this is a 12-month contract to start in December 2024. About you You are an outstanding communicator with excellent interpersonal, motivational, and relationship-building skills. Your ability to think critically and problem-solve, while exercising strong attention to detail, is essential. You are highly empathetic and comfortable liaising with customers who may be challenging. Troubleshooting and problem-solving come naturally to you. You have collections experience using email and phone, with both inbound and outbound customers.
