Our client, a well respected organisation in the education industry, is seeking TWO highly skilled and experienced Project Managers to lead and deliver critical IT projects.
You will be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary teams, overseeing budgets, and resources, and ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Project Leadership: Develop and execute complex IT projects, aligning them with organizational objectives and industry best practices. Team Management: Lead and inspire diverse teams, fostering collaboration, motivation, and performance excellence. Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, contracts, and resources effectively, ensuring cost-efficiency and value delivery. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and vendors, to facilitate smooth project execution. Procurement and Contract Management: Oversee procurement processes, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to optimize project outcomes. Governance and Compliance: Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and industry standards, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation. Change Management: Implement effective change management strategies to minimize disruption and maximize adoption of new systems and processes. Essential Skills and Experience: Proven track record in delivering successful IT projects, preferably in an education or government setting. Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal Culture and Community. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams. Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2). Expertise in procurement, contract management, and vendor relationship management. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
