Azure Cloud Network Engineer Backfill role Start ASAP till June 2025 with possible extensions Location: Canberra, ACT About the role Work in a large federal government department on improvements to their cloud platform and a number of high-priority initiatives. The selected candidate will be required to lead design, build and configuration in line with the enterprise approach across the following:
Responsibilities Planning and design of network architecture (subnets, VLANS, DHCP, LAN, WAN subnets) for connecting regional sites into multiple domains. Administration of Cisco 7K, 9000 and Edge Switching Configuration and deployment of firewalls, network switches, routers Administration of Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Azure VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall and BigIP F5 LTM and APM Manage and administration of Azure and M365 Azure environment. Administration of Clear Pass, TACACS and Aruba WAP Management systems Manage and administration of Cloud Environments AWS and Azure Server Orchestration/Configuration: Ansible, Bicep and Terraform Monitoring: Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, syslog-ng Eligibility requirement Due to the nature of the role, Australian citizenship with NV1 security clearance is mandatory for this role.
