This is a unique opportunity for experienced Heavy Vehicle Technicians like you to join our new team and contribute to our growth.
While Patterson Cheney Trucks Pakenham is being constructed, the selected candidate will work from the Patterson Cheney Trucks location in Keysborough. About the role: As a Dealership Heavy Vehicle Truck Technician, you will be responsible for: Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers. Conducting thorough inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues. Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake replacements. Utilising diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues accurately. Collaborating with the service team to ensure timely and efficient repairs. Providing exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients. Who we're looking for: Heavy Vehicle Technician qualification. Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles, particularly trucks. Excellent knowledge of heavy vehicles' mechanical, electrical, and technical systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and software. Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Hold a HR or HC Truck Licence. Advantageous to hold applicable HV licences, Air Conditioning, Forklift and RWC tester. On Offer: Salary negotiated on experience plus overtime. A $5000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible qualified Heavy Vehicle Technicians. $2500 will be paid after 30 days and upon completing the probation period.
