You will be the first-person patients meet when they engage with our day hospital.
With exceptional service, underpinned by compassion and attention to detail, you will directly enhance the experience of patients undertaking procedures related to gynaecological/fertility, ophthalmology, plastic and cosmetics and paediatric dental.
Under guidance from your Team Leader, your responsibilities include: Triage incoming calls, emails and patient enquires Admitting and discharging patients on the day of their procedure Managing patient theatre bookings and monitoring day hospital appointments Accurate data entry into the patient management system Completing health fund checks and providing financial quotes Providing general administrative support to the clinical team Delivering exceptional caring service to all patients Health fund billing and receipting Are you the ideal candidate for us?

Ideally you will bring the following: Previous experience in a busy day hospital/theatre or medical environment Knowledge of medical terminology Previous experience with health funds Excellent telephone manner and general communication skills Exceptional computer and IT skills, Microsoft Office Suite essential Strong attention to detail Ability to work cohesively within a multi-disciplinary team Superior time management skills with proven ability to multitask A willingness to embrace the Monash IVF Group principles – Care, Collaborate, Communicate, Commitment, Create.
