As a key member of the team, the Patient Accounts Administrator is responsible for billing and debtor follow up from Health Funds, DVA and third parties for services provided at Cabrini.Key responsibilities will include:Raising claims/accounts (Billing) in accordance with the relevant contractsEnsure legislation requirements are met and all relevant documentation is completedFollowing up unprocessed claims, resubmissions and attending to audit casesEnsuring clear lines of communication between the Patient Accounts Department and other Cabrini departmentsEnsuring a high standard of care is provided to all stakeholdersAbout youThe successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working as part of a team, building upon your skills and enhancing processes.You will need to have the following:Previous experience in a private healthcare, medical environment, or health insurance industryPrevious experience and confidence in billing inpatient claimsExperience in using WebPas and Eclipse, other health fund and third-party portalsHigh attention to detailA high level of effectiveness in a team-based environment and an ability to work autonomouslyKnowledge of medical terminologyA professional attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skillsTo view the full position description click hereEnquiries to: Assistant Manager, Patient Accounts - Roopa Anand - 9508 1222Does this sound like your new role?
