Douglass Hanly Moir Barratt & Smith Pathology is an established and well-respected pathology practice, offering comprehensive, high-quality pathology across NSW and north-west Victoria.

Position DescriptionWe seek enthusiastic Pathology Collectors to join our vibrant Patient Services Team.
You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:
Collecting blood and non-blood samples and conducting basic tests such as ECG and Holter Monitoring.Following strict guidelines and procedures to ensure all samples are accurately labelled and archived.Guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures.Preparing specimens for transportation to the laboratory.Ideal CandidateWe are proud to say we have a learning and supportive environment; therefore, experience and qualifications are optional.
High level of professional training and Personal Protective Equipment will be provided. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in healthcare, re-entering the workforce, or seeking a career change.

Unrestricted working rights in Australia.Commitment to annual influenza vaccination.A National Police Check, Working with Children clearance, and First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) will be required prior to commencement.
