4Cyte Pathology is Australian owned and operated Private Pathology LaboratoryAbout the role We are looking for experienced Pathology Collectors for sites in Queanbeyan and surrounding areas. Casual positions available.
Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing diagnostic and specialised collection tests.
Skills and experience Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer methodCollection of blood and other samples from patientsExperience in ECG's and Holter monitorsProcessing of Pathology SpecimensAbility to work alone and participate in the weekend roster in any of our collection centres.Clerical duties and process paperworkOwn car and current driver licence is requiredAbility to communicate with the team, referring Doctors and patientsAbility to provide dedication to patient care and service deliveryAbility to demonstrate organisation and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritise and work under pressureBasic computer skillsComply with Work Health and SafetyFully Vaccinated for COVID-19If you are interested in taking on the challenges of this position, please click "apply" and submit your cover letter and CV.
