Who We Need A Filings Paralegal to work in the Foreign Filings team. The primary function of this position is to manage the filing of patent and design cases for all Griffith Hack patent practice groups.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with proven experience in managing all aspects of foreign and local patent and design filings. However, we are open to all candidates and will provide the necessary training to support your growth and development.

Assist with all filing instructions, associated correspondence/documentation and manage administrative issues relating to patent and design filings. Liaison with Foreign Agents and Patent Offices in Australia and New Zealand including DFAT, Consulates and Embassies as required and directed. Maintain client database records, case status records, create and maintain diaries. Consult with Attorneys on patent and design applications. Manage case workload and deadlines to ensure cases are filed and managed professionally and with care. Keep clients up to date on progress of filings, including preparing invoices for each action. Experience Working to deadlines Administration and accurate data entry Previous experience working in the Intellectual Property profession and with patent filing and administration preferred but not essential. Location: Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane/Perth
This is a full-time role; however, there may also be an opportunity for it to be part-time 0.8.
