Thriving in a "work from anywhere" Pearce IP offers the best of both worlds to its team.Our patent attorneys develop, coordinate and execute local and multi-jurisdictional patent strategies, provide patent support for regional and global business development activities and licensing deals, and draft and prosecute patent applications around the world.If you are an experienced leader and Executive/Partner Patent Attorney with a PhD in biological/chemical sciences and a career focus on biopharma/biotech (or other life sciences industries) seeking an opportunity to lead a thriving patent practice, we would love you to be part of our continued growth and success.The RoleReporting to the Chief Executive Officer and joining Pearce IP's Executive leadership team, the Executive Patent Attorney is responsible for leading the patent prosecution team and providing accurate, concise and timely patent services to Pearce IP's clients.In line with our expectation for continued growth over the coming years, this role will be actively involved in generating new business opportunities for Pearce IP by identifying and marketing to potential new clients in Australia and overseas.The successful candidate will:Provide effective and inspiring leadership to the Australia and New Zealand patent prosecution team;Provide legally sound, timely and tailored patent advice to Pearce IP's clients;Advise clients prosecuting matters before the Australian and New Zealand Patent Offices;Provide external in-house counsel legal/patent services for clients, assist with FTO global patent clearances and litigation support.About youIdeally candidates will have 15+ years post registration Patent Attorney experience within a high performing patent team.
