Parts Inventory Manager

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join and lead our Parts team as the Parts Inventory Manager in our Ballarat Head Office.
About the Opportunity:
As the Parts Inventory Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in our operations, overseeing parts inventory management across multiple branches across three regions. This position and their direct reports will support these branches by managing their parts inventory to increase customer fill, sales, service and profitability. The Corporate Parts Inventory Manager is accountable for managing all aspects of Corporate parts and attachments inventory within the parts system (JDIS).
Duties & Responsibilities:
Inventory Management

Collaborate with the corporate product support group and the branches to establish objectives and ordering plans to support the corporate parts marketing plan.
Work with stakeholders to plan and develop required parts inventory levels at the branch and corporate level.
Manage multi-store parts inventory in accordance with inventory cycles, and work with the branches to ensure parts needs are met.
Implement Brandt Tractor's inventory control procedures.
Conduct daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems.
Coordinate the annual physical inventory of all parts and related inventories.
Monitor performance relative to inventory management and expense control.
Optimize corporate parts inventory levels and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency.
Adhere to and enforce company audit criteria.
Investigate problem orders, receiving and inventory issues.
Manage corporate parts return process.
Ensure resources are appropriately allocated, and timeline and quality expectations are met.
Perform any additional work requested/required to meet the needs of the branches, Brandt Tractor and its customers.

Employee Supervision

Supervise and lead a Corporate team of employees.
Set employee performance goals, review performance on an ongoing basis, and document/deal with performance issues as required.
Ensure employee training requirements are met, and coach and train employees in relevant practices and procedures as required.
Create and maintain a safe work environment by ensuring that company and occupational health and safety standards are met.
Implement and maintain compliance with company human resources and payroll policies, procedures and practices as well as general labor standards.

About You:
Aside from previous parts experience, the ideal candidate will also be service-driven, highly motivated, with a professional attitude. You will also demonstrate a strong customer service orientation and exercise sound judgment when dealing with internal and external customers. We will be looking for your prior experience and skills to include:

Three to five years work experience in parts inventory management.
Two or more years of direct supervisory experience.
Proven ability to organize work, set priorities, and achieve work-related objectives and goals.
Strong leadership ability with an ability to delegate effectively.
Strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.
Able to communicate effectively and professionally, orally and in writing.
Experience in working with inventory management systems.
Possesses a working knowledge of various work-related computer desktop and web-based productivity applications (MS Office suite, etc.).
Completion of or interest in completing a professional designation in supply chain management is an asset.
Able/capable to drive or travel locally and to travel freely outside the country if required.
