Iconic Australian brand - known around the world Marine parts experience preferred, but open to those with a passion for boating Negotiable salary with room to grow Our client sells and provides service, parts, and accessory solutions to one of Australia's most recognised motor yacht brands.
Not only are they an Australian icon, but they are known the world over and feature cutting-edge marine systems, all in a luxury-appointed, locally made vessel.
A vacancy exists for either an experienced marine Parts Interpreter, or for someone with extensive parts experience, but who loves boating and would be keen to transition into the industry.
Based at one of the brands Premium Dealers, this role has the scope to see the successful candidate grow towards running their own parts centre.
The vessels this dealership sells and supports feature an extensive array of technology and systems, so you won't just be handling oils, sparkplugs and filters, but rather radar, sonar, water makers, CCTV, fire suppression, power generation, entertainment systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, HVAC and more!
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate exposure to: Research and sourcing of parts from a range of suppliers Creative purchase orders Sale of over the counter parts Stock and inventory control Transportation of parts Maintenance of parts catalogues A keen interest in the marine industry and marine systems The successful applicant must be able to work well with others and be focused on delivering efficient outcomes for our client's customer base.
