This is a full-time 12-month maternity leave contract position.We require a full-time PARTS ADMINISTRATOR to join our busy team. Reporting to the Parts Manager, this role will be responsible for ensuring clerical accuracy with parts orders and maintaining parts stock holdings.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Parts Manager in the coordination of obsolescent stock returns and consignment branch stock.Monitor back orders from suppliers, process credits, and warranty returns.Assist the Parts Interpreters in finding out the actual delivery times of parts which they have ordered.Create orders for purchases and process invoices using the Dealer Management System.Provide assistance in stock maintenance.Prepare supplier invoices for payment.Assist in the coordination of the annual and rolling stocktakes.Daily receipting of parts into stock.Coordinate parts specials and assist with marketing as required.Skills & ExperienceExcellent attention to detail.Knowledge of parts operations would be an advantage.High level of computer literacy.Strong interpersonal and communication skills including telephone skills.Sound written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organisational, time management, and administrative skills.Friendly and positive attitude.Familiarity with parts inventory systems.Experience in the automotive industry would be an advantage but not essential.How to ApplyIf you are eager to be part of our successful, close-knit team, please click "Apply" to submit your resume.We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.About the companyHallam Truck Centre flies the PACCAR flag in southeast Melbourne and Victoria.
