The Role:The APS6 Partnerships Lead will assist in the delivery of strategic outcomes, coordinating program and project management, working across a diverse range of stakeholders to identify and deliver mutually beneficial initiatives aligned to the National Digital Health Strategy. They will also be responsible for managing contracts, including reporting and procurement requirements and financial administration.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Provide expertise and technical knowledge for your stakeholder group across a range of programs or activities for the Agency.Provide accurate and specialised advice, including anticipating problems and contributing to issues management.Ensure knowledge of and compliance with legislative, financial and administrative frameworks, government decision-making processes and Agency guidelines and regulations.Propose and facilitate innovation initiatives and contribute to business improvement strategies and to change in workplace practices.Assist in strategic planning, program and project management and/or policy development for Partnerships.Implement work plans for Partnerships including setting tasks and priorities, managing workflow and allocating resources.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:Relevant skills, knowledge, and tertiary qualifications that commensurate with the duties of the role.Project management methodologies, including PRINCE2 or PMP (desirable).In-depth understanding of the Australian Health Care sector, particularly software developers, jurisdictions (health departments) and hospitals.Experience in relationship management.Sound understanding of digital health, business principles and contract management.To Apply:To be eligible it is essential that applicants hold Australian Citizenship and have the ability to obtain and maintain a national police check and security clearance.
