ROLE OVERVIEWWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Partnerships Fundraising Manager to join our team in this newly formed role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing new business, developing and managing funding relationships, securing sponsorships, and generating substantial revenue through corporate partnerships. This role sits within our Development team and will report directly to the Head of Development. If you consider yourself the person to build new funding relationships that will change how children with dementia, a previously neglected cohort, are seen and supported for generations to come, you are the person for us.

Cares about our cause and our peopleWill be responsible for new income generation and partnership managementWill be responsible for how the larger corporate sector considers and views Childhood Dementia InitiativeIs familiar with the fundraising sector, corporate philanthropy landscape and best practicesHas excellent interpersonal and relationship management skillsHas energy, creativity, and a growth mindsetIs a team player that can work autonomously as wellKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and Implement Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive corporate partnerships strategy, an entirely new stream of income, to identify, engage, and secure partnerships with businesses and corporations aligned with our mission.Build and Manage Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate prospects. Serve as the primary point of contact and ensure exceptional stewardship and satisfaction.Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling partnership proposals, sponsorship packages, and presentations tailored to the needs and interests of potential corporate partners.Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through corporate sponsorships, partnerships, and collaborations. Set and achieve financial targets for corporate fundraising activities.Event Coordination: Collaborate with the events team to integrate corporate partners into events and campaigns. Oversee the fulfilment of partnership benefits and ensure a high level of partner engagement.Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, corporate giving practices, and competitor activities. Use insights to identify new opportunities and refine strategies.Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on the performance of corporate partnerships and fundraising activities. Analyse results and provide recommendations for improvement.Selection Criteria - qualifications, experience and skillsMinimum of 7 years of experience in corporate fundraising, partnership development, or business development, preferably in the non-profit sector.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Proven success in securing and managing corporate partnerships.Familiarity with client relationship management platforms such as Salesforce.Understanding of the non-profit sector and fundraising landscape.The right to reside and work in Australia.Why Join Us?Impact: Contribute to a groundbreaking cause with a direct impact on the lives of children and families affected by dementia.
