Partnerships & Community Engagement Specialist Are you an experienced relationship manager with strong project management skills?

Our Community and Sustainability Team is seeking a passionate team member to be the driving force behind Newcastle Permanent's Partnerships and Community Engagement program.
As the Partnerships and Community Engagement Specialist , you will be responsible for delivering Newcastle Permanent's iconic community sponsorships such as Surf Life Saving and Northern NSW Football partnerships.

This role allows you to use your strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders including partners, internal departments, frontline teams, and suppliers, and influence toward a common goal.
You will also put your creativity and project management skills to great use, developing strong execution and leverage plans in partnership with our internal brand, marketing, and public relations teams.

What will your key responsibilities include?

Lead the successful delivery of Newcastle Permanent's iconic sponsorships program in line with contracts and budgets, ensuring maximum ROI and brand value.
Develop and execute leverage and activation strategies for partnership programs and community engagement opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external community partners and suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of programs and events.
Work collaboratively with internal departments to influence and formulate effective marketing, advertising, and public relations to support the program.
Actively analyze and review the success of programs and provide recommendations and insights to the Manager, Partnerships and Community Engagement as required.
What are we looking for?

Candidates with tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field, with at least three to five years' experience in stakeholder engagement and/or project management.
A big picture, creative, and lateral thinker.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with a natural ability to motivate and influence various stakeholders to achieve a common goal.
Strong project management skills with proven experience in managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, ensuring deadlines are met.
The flexibility to work outside of hours and travel regionally is an essential requirement of this role.
