Job Description - Partnership and Intake Officer We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Intake and Partnership Officer to align with the Lighting Lives values and work towards creating a network of disability service providers, increasing awareness and understanding of our services, and fostering greater engagement and inclusion for NDIS participants and individuals with disabilities. This role is essential in broadening our impact and enhancing our service offerings.
We are offering: Friendly and supportive environment Opportunity to join and play a vital part in the successful growth of the company Immediate start available Career progression and development Tools of the trade - Laptop, mobile Flexible working support Duties and Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: Develop and execute strategies to grow Lighting Lives' client base and expand service offerings. Responsible for the growth of new client acquisition. Develop and cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Maintain and enhance strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and engagement. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats. Be responsible for growing and developing our client base. Ownership of new client intake and working with various external stakeholders until the client is fully transitioned into the business. Serve as a key representative at industry events, conferences, and networking functions, showcasing our services and values. Implement marketing and communication strategies to promote the disability support business, including the creation of marketing content, social media campaigns, and advertising. Monitor and report on key performance indicators and business analytics to management. Develop and implement strategies to achieve business goals. Prepare monthly reports as directed by management. All other duties as directed by Senior Management. The ideal candidate will have experience and skills as follows: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Development Manager or a similar role in the disability industry. Relevant diploma or tertiary qualification preferred. Proven experience in developing professional relationships that lead to business growth through new clients and client retention. Strong understanding of NDIS frameworks, particularly in relation to SIL, respite care, and in-home support services. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Experience in developing and implementing growth strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Experience working with vulnerable people and knowledge of varying degrees of disability. A wide-ranging understanding of the NDIS, relevant legislation, and practice standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated experience in leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving skills, conflict resolution, and organizational skills. Self-motivated, a positive role model with a 'can do' attitude. Innovative and out-of-the-box thinking to establish connections and follow up. And must have: Reliable car and current driver's license. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Social media skills – ability to prepare content, ads, and create traffic. Hold or be willing to attain NDIS Workers Screening Check, Working with Children's Check, Current First Aid Certificate, NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
