We are seeking an experienced professional to be the VMware Specialist within our APJ Partner Migrations and Modernization team.

Due to unprecedented growth in the number of cloud transformation projects we are expanding our APJ team. You will have the exciting opportunity to develop and deliver on our migration and modernization strategy by working with our key partners to support organizations transition to cloud. You will own the goal for our partners in driving modernization of workloads running on VMware and leverage proven programs and the deep experience and capability across our Solution Architects, Partners, Professional Services, and Business Development team.
Key job responsibilitiesLeading the VMware motion for our large-scale Partner Migrations and Modernization efforts in APJ.Own the Partner Core goals for VMware as part of our Migration Acceleration Program.Support Partner recruitment and enablement for our VMware motion.Run an MBR for our VMware initiatives that engages our senior stakeholders, identifying key activities to hit our goals and calling out blockers and building action plans to overcome challenges in the field.Identify and develop Migration Competency partners and support local partner leadership on MAP goals.Actively participate in the evolving strategy of the Migration Acceleration Program by making meaningful contributions to key narratives and planning documents developed from the central program team.Support partners on the Migration Acceleration Program opportunities and be a migration subject matter expert to help close SI partner migration deals.Lead the enablement of internal and external partner teams on AWS' programs.Work with partners by providing thought leadership about how to build the top of the funnel migration pipeline.Support partners as needed to deliver key Migration Acceleration Program activities.Create an action plan should we fall behind plan and require a 'get to green' initiative.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- The right person will be technical and analytical, and possess 10-15 years of partner development, business development, product marketing, or program/product management experience.
- Experience in selling large transformation projects with customers in APJ with high domain knowledge on the VMWare market.
- Demonstrated success with managing cross group collaboration and multiple projects in a matrix and high growth organization.
- A proven leader with previous regional and cross border management responsibility.
- Breadth of expertise in private and public Cloud Computing (i.e. AWS platform), technologies and architectural best practices.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- MBA.
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
