Participation Officer

The Participation Officer is responsible for all outbound participation programs (community, schools, inclusion, school holiday participation programs) and first-experience programs, including Aussie Hoops.

Outbound


Manage all community programs, including school programs, holiday camps, community programs and Local Government Area (LGA) activations.

Oversee and drive the Ngalak indigenous program and initiatives.

Oversee the PBA Inclusion program, including the training and development of appropriate coaches.


First experience programs


Manage all first experience programs, including Aussie Hoops.


Human Resource Management


Develop and oversee a casual coach database and scheduling system.

Ensure all community coaches for PBA programs are appropriately upskilled.


General duties


Manage the "PBA Experience" as the first point of contact for current and potential members.

Answer the PBA administration email and office phone during normal operating hours or during PBA event/program days.

Liaise with Basketball WA on general enquiries.

Ensure all PBA Participation initiatives represent the PBA brand and strategic vision.

Liaise with Basketball WA as required from time to time.

Ensure the PBA Participation programs are delivered within budget.
