Salary: Level 4, $87,712 - $92,057 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2022)
This is a permanent full-time position commencing January 2025. Across the state, Regional Education Offices are responsible for supporting schools in the metropolitan and rural areas by promoting system initiatives, providing support and quality assurance, and ensuring consistency in the implementation of policies and procedures to enhance the outcomes of schooling.
Regional offices are also required to ensure that each school within their area of responsibility complies with the relevant legislation and policies.
The Role If successful, you will manage an assigned caseload within the Pilbara Education Region.
It will be your responsibility to provide individualised case brokerage and face to face outreach support services to Compulsory School-aged Students (primarily senior secondary) who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from school.
Participation coordinators provide advocacy for young people to access appropriate support services, and work to improve outcomes related to transitions and engagement into an approved option.
You will develop high quality individual pathway plans, including career and transition considerations for at risk young people to make informed choices and effective transitions to a range of appropriate pathways and post-school options.
You will be required to broker transitions to and placements with post-school providers, including TAFE and other Registered Training Organisations, apprenticeships and traineeships, community-based programs, or employment.
This will be achieved by leveraging your strong network of youth, employment, education, and training organisations, to optimise success of engagement.
