Part-Time Finance Administrator / Assistant Accountant

Up to $73K + Super Pro Rata4 or 5 Days / 20 hours pw (Choose your hours)Mon in the Office, flexible other days (Hybrid/WFH options)Ideally Start before Christmas (although flexible) Office Closes for Christmas Break Port Melbourne – Onsite ParkingJoin this passionate and collaborative NFP organisation (10 talented and very friendly people) involved in a diverse range of projects with numerous stakeholders, who's work and project outcomes have a significant and positive impact on all areas of transport and 'people movement' throughout Australia.
Working closely with and being trained and supported by a highly experienced CFO and Accountant (both ladies are absolutely lovely), you will have the opportunity to learn and develop new skills and potentially take on more responsibility in time.  Providing day-to-day finance and administration support, the role will also require you to:
Assist with Accounts Receivable: 
Process and enter information into MOMENTUM, including Cash contributions, invoices and paymentsMaintain the Invoicing ScheduleLiaise with external stakeholders/parties regarding general financial matters and enquiriesCollating data for quarterly reporting and the annual audit, and assistance with general preparation for both, as well as BAS and other reporting requirementsAssist with Accounts Payable:
Data entry and processing of various payments (MYOB & MOMENTUM)Enquiry follow upCredit card reconciliations and entry into MYOBReconciliation of travel reports, allocation and data entry into MYOBTo be successful in this role you will have excellent time management, organisation and prioritisation skills, attention to detail and accuracy. To be a great culture fit within the team, you will be a team player and possess genuine care for your work and colleagues.  The capacity to increase to full time hours at various times throughout the year will also be important (not too often and with plenty of notice).
Some experience in a similar/bookkeeping role and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.  A formal qualification is required (minimum Cert IV in Bookkeeping).  Extensive experience is not required.
