They operate across a variety of industries and sizes, supporting sole traders and start-up entities through to multi-state company levels.
At its core, the business has built foundations for strong relationships, leading to exceptional year-on-year growth and the need to onboard a new staff member.
Job Description On a day-to-day basis, the bookkeeper will provide a variety of bookkeeping services while working with clients from a large range of industries.
This will include: Accounts Payable & Receivable Bank Reconciliations Payroll Processing, including STP, PAYG, and Superannuation reconciliations.
Monthly/Quarterly Reporting.
Assisting with BAS/IAS preparation.
Direct communication with clients via a mix of phone and email.
The Successful Applicant The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, coupled with ideally 3-5 years of practical experience (those more junior are still encouraged to apply!).
Any exposure to working in a practice is highly regarded, although not essential.
Ideally, you will also have experience using Xero, with MYOB also viewed favourably.
Other desirable characteristics include: Cert IV in Bookkeeping is highly regarded (not essential).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Attention to detail, coupled with speed and accuracy.
Ability to adapt to changes and competing priorities.
