You will be part of a close-knit team of Client Service professionals providing a high level of administrative support to financial planners with duties including (but not limited to):
Preparation of Records of Advice (ROA), Statements of Advice (SOA) and Statements of Further Advice (SOFA) both simple and complex;review of client information before commencing the SOA including but not limited to, adviser file notes, research, collected government information, risk profiling, and previous advice documents;preparation of Reverse Fact Finds and strategy mind maps;liaise with advisers on SOA strategies;complete any strategy analysis, modelling/projections;complete research on products and analyse the research to provide a summary of the product for the adviser's review;compliance checking files to ensure they are compliant with RG175, RG274, RG244 and AML/CTF legislation;keep up to date on legislative changes in the industry;handling miscellaneous requests from advisers and requests for assistance from other staff. The applicant we are seeking would possess the following:
Sound understanding of RG175 as they apply to the preparation of advice documents,sound understanding of all aspects of the financial planning process including entity structures, gearing, superannuation and defined benefit superannuation schemes, retirement planning, tax minimisation strategies and estate planning,sound analytical skills,sound understanding of defined benefit superannuation,ability to model and prepare projections within Xtools+, use WealthSolver and IPS (Portfolios),ability to perform basic troubleshooting in Xplan, navigate through Xplan Wizards and merge documents,ability to manage competing work priorities professionally,ability to innovate, change and adapt.
