About this OpportunityReporting directly to the Operations Manager, Ambulance Services, you will be motivated to initiate emergency response, resuscitation and stabilisation of critically ill or injured patients, utilising emergency medical guidelines and critical care within scope. You will work across both specialised transport services and at large-scale events in the broader Adelaide area.
Please note that there are multiple casual positions available. If successful, you will work a variety of different shift configurations.

Specifically, you will:Provide emergency care and specialised transport for patients (including the use of some specialised ambulance equipment and clinical procedures).Communicate effectively and appropriately with patients, relatives, health professionals, members of the public and other emergency service providers to ensure the best possible outcome for the patient is achieved.Undertake thorough clinical assessment of patients to identify illness or injury, plan and initiate appropriate patient management.About YouYou are:
A team player with exemplary communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.Confident in making decisions regarding patient assessment, care and interventions as required prior to patient hand over and during patient transport.Able to follow procedures and guidelines in a high pressure and time sensitive environment.Detail orientated with demonstrated computer literacy.To be considered for the role you require:Registration (or eligible for registration) as a Paramedic with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency/Paramedicine Board of Australia.A bachelor's degree in science – Paramedicine or equivalent.Minimum 3 years' experience as a paramedic in Australia.An unrestricted SA drivers' licence.Our BenefitsAs part of our team, you can expect to be provided with challenging, interesting work and be supported to achieve your best.
