OUR CLIENT
Our client is a leading international law firm with Australian offices located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

THE ROLE
This role is to be based out of our client's Sydney office and is predominately an in office role however our client is open to discussing some flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.
This particular role sits within their Integrated Legal Solutions (ILS) team with this team providing paralegal support to all practice groups across the firm.

The position of Paralegal Services Team Lead is responsible for managing the team of 50+ Sydney and Brisbane based paralegals who work as part of the ILS team and includes duties such as:
Allocating and coordinating workload for the team of paralegals and setting priorities for the team; Monitoring and reporting on general productivity of the team and ensuring tasks completed within deadlines required; Monitoring of hours worked by paralegals; Receiving briefs on required tasks from firm Partners and Lawyers and briefing the paralegal team on what is required for the task.
Answering any questions and overseeing the team to ensure the task is completed as per the brief; Ensuring the team maintains appropriate staffing numbers and assisting the appropriate internal teams with recruitment of replacement or additional paralegals as required; Managing any performance issues within the team and ensuring the accurate reporting of all paralegal time costings; Ensuring that the team of paralegals receive the appropriate training and mentoring as required and being their point of contact as required.

Ideally you will have:
Experience in a leadership role, preferably within a law firm, professional services or corporate services provider.
A passion for technology and a desire to learn new systems; A commitment to excellence in client service, coupled with strong interpersonal skills, confidence and the ability to build rapport with your ILS team members, partners and lawyers; A very high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to organise and prioritise work independently and deliver to tight deadlines; Excellent team management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work, demonstrate leadership within a group and handle multiple priorities in a busy environment; Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within and across teams and offices.
