About the role We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to join our Melbourne Real Estate practice on a full-time basis. You will be servicing commercial real estate matters for key clients alongside a well-known industry partner.
What does the role involve? Our clients are sophisticated users of legal services and look to the team to provide the highest levels of consistent service and value. Responsibilities in the role include:
Preparing documentation and correspondence Handling PEXA matters Attending to conveyancing and settlement activities Hard copy as well as electronic filing, printing, scanning, collation, and photocopying of all documents relating to matters Regular client contact Archiving of matters Ensuring all files are up to date General administration About you We value our culture at K&L Gates and are proud of our friendly and respectful reputation. You should be practical, resilient, and proactive in your approach in addition to demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.
Ideally, you will have 6+ years' experience as a Paralegal working in a Real Estate practice in a law firm. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and PEXA are expected, as are excellent organisation and communication skills.
