About the Opportunity The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is seeking to establish a pool of ASO3 paralegals to fill vacancies (of up to 24 months) as they arise within the Office.
The Paralegal officer undertakes legal-related work under the direction of a solicitor such as legal research, preparing draft correspondence and court documents, performing administrative tasks (filing, copying, scanning etc), analysing and summarising documents, fact checking and assisting practitioners prepare prosecution matters and run trials.
About the Business The ODPP is an office of approximately 185 staff, comprising both legal and administrative functions. The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions was established through the Director of Public Prosecutions Act, 1991 to provide an effective, fair and independent criminal prosecution service for the people of South Australia. The Office is committed to the highest ethical and professional standards.

Special Conditions for Employment Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
