Join our Legal Services Team as a

Employment Lawyer

and make a difference by providing expert legal advice, representation, and advocacy to clients accessing our Law Centre for assistance.
You'll manage a diverse caseload, representing clients in courts and tribunals, and contributing to various areas of legal practice.

Your expertise in employment law is essential.This role is offered as a Full Time Fixed Term Contract.
(Until July 2025)Responsibilities:Offer accurate and specialised legal advice, representation, and advocacy to clients seeking assistance.Conduct court representations, manage court files, and engage in litigation as required.Supervise restricted and other Lawyers within the Law Centre and assist with student and volunteer inquiries.Contribute to law reform issues and community legal education, developing resources and outreach programs.Participate in policy and program review and development, ensuring adherence to ethical and high-quality service standards.Qualifications & Experience:Degree in Law, admitted in the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of Australia.An unrestricted practicing certificate

(Category C).Proven experience in various areas of law, supervision, and working with diverse client groups, including disadvantaged and CALD communities.We are seeking an individual with a strong legal background, exceptional knowledge of legal systems and processes, and a demonstrated ability to handle complex litigation and diverse clientele.
