OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Paralegal to join our dynamic Litigation & Dispute Resolution team based in our Melbourne office.
This role would suit a highly motivated individual eager to work in a collaborative team environment and provide clients with important debt recovery services and support.
Responsibilities: Initiating and managing debt recovery and enforcement proceedings.Direct and regular communication with clients, external stakeholders and the Court in relation to debt recovery matters.Drafting and filing relevant Court documents.Managing your own files with supervision.Recording billable time pertaining to debt recovery matters.General administrative duties, as required.ABOUT YOU You will have:
Demonstrated experience working in a litigation practice and/or debt recovery position.A sound understanding of Court processes, including enforcement procedures.Previous experience in an administrative role.Exceptional organisational and time management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Outstanding attention to detail.The ability to manage your own billable time.High level computer literacy skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of apps.Sound administrative skills and the ability to assist with end of month billing processes including third-party disbursements.A commercial approach to all matters.A strong commitment to excellence in client service.You will also be:
