The Opportunity We are on the lookout for a motivated and forward-thinking Paralegal to join our Brisbane based Insurance Litigation Team.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside a supportive team in our national head office.
The Role The core responsibilities of this role include:
Day to day management of insurance files;Drafting and amending various court documents;Reviewing and compiling evidence for filing (including administrative duties such as indexing and paginating);Compiling briefs to counsel and medical experts;Liaising with clients and service providers;Conducting legal research as required;Drafting case-notes as required;End of month billing; andGeneral administrative duties of the team, such as diary and file management e.g.
filing, bring ups, opening and archiving files.Who are you? We remain open-minded about the 'right' candidate.
You could possess:
Previous experience in a busy litigation paralegal role with a desire to continue your paralegal career journey;A high level of attention to detail and a high personal work standard;Strong organisation skills, together with the capacity to manage conflicting priorities simultaneously;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Familiarity with iManage and Practice Evolve would be considered advantageous.Your new team Our team is made up of highly skilled and dedicated legal professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional results for our clients.
