Key Responsibilities Global Law FirmLitigation paralegal (casual)We are partnering with a global law firm on a number of paralegal roles in their litigation team in Perth.
The ideal candidate will be able to work full-time, however we will consider law students who are able to commit to a minimum of three days/week.
Key Responsibilities Assisting the dispute resolution team with the preparation of documents and progression of matters.Attending to filing of Court documents with the Federal and Supreme Courts.Assisting with preparation of Briefs to Counsel and delivery of Briefs.Assisting with taking documents to Court (including using a trolley).Attending to logistics for Court, including ordering transcripts, preparing summaries, and other related matters.Assisting lawyers with legal research, including with requests from our global offices, and preparing accurate and concise summaries.Assisting with document and file management.Attending to document review and discovery processes.Assisting with other ad hoc legal and non-legal tasks as and when requested by Partners/senior associates, including from other practice areas.Assisting administration staff from time to time. Essential skills Strong work ethic.Strong ability in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and comfortable with IT systems.Excellent attention to detail.Strong research skills and ability to identify legal issues.Studying towards a Bachelor Degree in law (having completed at least 1 year of study with strong academics).Your application must include your academics and the exact days you are able to work.
