Hybrid working environment. 3 years fixed term, VPS 2 - $56,834 - $72,985 plus superannuation. Key legal support role in a thriving transport infrastructure environment. Full time or Part time (2-3 days per week) opportunities available. Location - Melbourne CBD. As our next Paralegal, you will be mentored and supported by a Principal Lawyer to achieve positive project outcomes across a broad variety of legal task. Join us in building better connections for Victoria by: Assisting in the preparation and review of legal documents including construction and goods & services contracts. Assist in contract and claims management, including by maintaining records, supporting claims assessment and assisting in the drafting of correspondence. Assist in the review of documents to be released outside MRPV, including to market participants, proponents, and stakeholders. Maintain responsibility for the management and oversight of internal legal registers, such as registers of legal advice, indemnities, or probity matters. Assist in maintaining legal and probity templates. About You You could be a recent graduate seeking to applying the knowledge learnt in your degree in a practical setting, or a paralegal seeking a change of scenery Most importantly, you are: Organised, reliable and detail-orientated – you take great pride in your methodical approach to the work that you do A team player that thrives in a collaborative, issues rich environment. A problem solver who demonstrates initiative when completing administrative, legal and commercial tasks. Confident and precise when completing legal reviews and drafting correspondence. A current law student interested in a legal career within the construction or transport infrastructure industry. This opportunity is a 3-year fixed term.
