In this role, you will collaborate closely with our legal experts, providing essential support to ensure seamless operations and the highest standards of service delivery. Your responsibilities will include paralegal tasks, administrative duties, and contributing to the efficient functioning of our legal team. Your responsibilities include:
Coordinate and respond to third-party requests for records and information, including searches, document collation, drafting correspondence, and meeting deadlines.Assist with litigation and discovery processes, overseeing document inspection and provision, and preparing court documents and lists.Assist in legal due diligence procedures.Conduct clear and concise legal research, communicating findings effectively.Draft, process, and proofread various legal documents for review by supervising lawyers.Communicating with internal and external stakeholders by email, telephone and in person.The successful person You will be able to demonstrate:

The Legal Branch plays a vital role in delivering legal services to key stakeholders including the Minister for Health and Minister for Ambulance Services, Director-General, Deputy Directors-General, Executive Directors, and senior departmental officers across various departments and Business Units. Reporting directly to the Director-General through the Deputy Director-General of the Corporate Services Division, our team ensures seamless legal support at the highest levels of leadership within the department.
