The role
Our Dispute Resolution and Litigation team in Sydney are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated career Paralegal with experience working in the litigation space to join their high performing team.
This role will see you play a central and valued role in supporting our fee earners in handling matters and preparing for trial. The opportunity provides a wide range of variety day to day and will be suited to an individual who thrives in a fast paced environment. It encompasses all aspects of Paralegal support to the class actions team in our Litigation practice group, including but not limited to, electronic document and file management, legal research, drafting, court filing, client liaison and preparation of briefs and reports.
The team is hard-working and high-performing, but collegiate, with a strong and unique pipeline of upcoming work. This role offers the right candidate many opportunities to demonstrate their exceptional organisation and technical skills and work with a variety of highly experienced litigators.
About you
You will ideally possess;
Demonstrable experience in a Paralegal position, preferably within a Litigation practice
Relevant qualification in Paralegal studies is advantageous
A proactive, solutions focused attitude with the ability to liaise confidently with others
Exceptional organisational skills
Ability to manage your time effectively, particularly in high pressure environments
Competent in the use of MS suite and legal software
Strong word processing capability (min 70 wpm)
