About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Paralegal / Conveyancer to join our team in Somersby. Under the guidance and mentorship of the General Counsel, you will be responsible for:

Managing conveyancing matters
Preparing & reviewing basic legal documents
Conducting legal research
Assisting with the preparation of advice
File review and management
Providing general administrative support
Acting as point of contact with key stakeholders
Other duties as required to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the legal department and business as a whole

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

Minimum 5 years' experience as paralegal/conveyancer
Conveyancing experience essential, including with PEXA
Knowledge of legal professional and ethical responsibilities relating to client confidentiality and conflicts of interest
Strong written skills, excellent computer skills including familiarity with MS applications and Leap legal software
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships across the business

Experience in one or more of the following fields would be highly advantageous:

Debt recovery
Commercial leasing
Competition and Consumer law
Planning law
Environmental law
Migration law
Mergers & Acquisitions
Privacy law
Construction law
Work Health & Safety law
