Position Overview: As the Panel And Paint Shop Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in the collision repair department. You will ensure that repair work meets quality standards, manage a team of technicians, and ensure efficient workflow throughout the department.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the repair floor team, ensuring repairs are completed on time and to company standards.Oversee workflow to ensure optimal productivity.Review repair orders and ensure necessary parts and materials are available.Maintain quality control over repairs, ensuring they meet safety and industry standards.Resolve any technical or customer-related issues promptly.Track repair status and ensure customer satisfaction.Provide leadership and guidance to technicians and staff to ensure a high standard of work and efficiency.Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.Help with employee training and development in repair techniques and safety protocols.Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.Qualifications: Proven trade qualifications and experience in the auto body/collision repair industry is essential.Strong understanding of automotive repair processes, tools, and techniques.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.Proficient in using collision repair software e.g. iBody, Audanet, Estimage, Autorola and NTAR.
