Panania Part Time Nanny

Start date: ASAP
Contract – 6 months initially with the possibility of extended if all goes well
Pay: $40 – $45 per hour depending on experienceA professional and welcoming family in Panania, NSW are seeking a nurturing and active nanny to care for their two boys aged 1 and 5 years.
The days and normal hours are – 2 days per week Tuesday 9am – 4pmThursday 9am – 4pmThe family are looking for a nanny who is bubbly, energetic, fun to be around but also engaging, kind, calm and patient.
A nanny who can structure the day, follow the children's routines and provide fun, creative and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities that will assist in their growth and development.
A nanny who values children's safety, is respectful, responsible, hard working, and able to uphold family values.
The role will mostly consist of taking care of the younger child as the older child attends school.
The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows: To care for the childrenFollow the children's routinesPlay and engage with the childrenTake the children to activities, i.e. walks and to the park/playgrounds/play groupsLight household duties – hanging/collecting washing, cleaning up after meals, tidying up after the children, occasional errandsPreparing snacks and cooking mealsThe family's expectations from their nanny are: Must have a minimum of 3 years nanny or childcare experienceMust have baby experienceHave a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)Have a current Working with Children CheckDisplay strong communication skills and speak EnglishFollow child safety practicesBasic cooking skills and food safety knowledge
