Palliative Care Consultant - Calvary Health Care Bethlehem, Caulfield Part time opportunity to deliver high-quality patient-centred outpatient palliative care services to CHCB Community Patients.
You will be supporting a Nurse Led Team, working alongside an experienced Nurse Practitioner and a full time advanced trainee Registrar.
This is a fixed term contract for a period of eight months, commencing February, 2025.
20 hours per week (Current Pattern Monday 09:00 - 12:00, Wednesday and Thursday 08:30 - 17:00)Participation in 2nd On Call Roster and will include Inpatient Ward Cover as requiredGenerous NFP Packaging Available to all employeesCalvary Health Care Bethlehem is part of the newly built Calvary Kooyong Precinct, located in CaulfieldWe offer free parking and we are close to public transport.Friendly and Supportive team environmentAbout The Role To act as a member of the interdisciplinary team across all settings, provide specialist palliative medicine support to ensure provision of compassionate patient centred care in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Calvary Health Care Bethlehem.
What You Bring Eligibility for registration as a Specialist in AustraliaFellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or the Australian Chapter of Palliative Medicine or equivalentDemonstrated and ongoing entitlement to work in AustraliaEmployees must undergo a National Police Record Check and/or a Working With Children Check in accordance with the CHCB Policy.About Calvary Health Care Bethlehem – Caulfield, Victoria Calvary Health Care Bethlehem (CHCB) is a 32 bed public hospital / health care facility providing a range of inpatient, community and ambulatory services for progressive neurological conditions and palliative care. The Statewide Progressive Neurological Disease (PND) service at Calvary Health Care Bethlehem offers a range of multidisciplinary assessment and management services for people with a diagnosed PND and is recognised as a leader in this area.
We are located centrally in metropolitan Melbourne at our new state of the art hospital and health care precinct in Caulfield.
