Our client is a long-established leader in the pallet racking solutions.
With a healthy workload and a significant track record in the industry, they now have an opportunity for a Racking Safety Inspector/Consultant.Taking responsibility for systems previously installed with their portfolio of existing customers in Queensland and New South Wales, the new appointee will schedule and undertake pallet racking inspections/safety audits, provide post-inspection reports and proposals for repairs and maintenance where required.
Specifically, they will:- Contact existing clients to schedule racking safety services- Visit client sites to complete inspections.- Create accurate layout drawings of the pallet racking/warehouse, identifying and recording damage and maintenance requirements.- Prepare safety reports and associated costed proposals for any repairs.- Follow up all quotes to secure work orders and instructions.- Keep records of all quotes/proposals done as well as win/loss ratio.- Track and report all sales metrics to identify opportunities to enhance sales processes.
About youYou have experience in industrial racking or materials handling systems (or in a warehousing environment) with a track record in a customer-facing role.You are ambitious, diligent and have the ability to identify relevant customer needs and propose appropriate products and solutions to clients.
In addition, you are/have:- High attention to detail.- Results oriented with strong problem-solving skills- Diligent with the expertise to ensure all jobs are followed up systematically and set up accurately.- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills- Well-spoken with strong English verbal and written skills- Highest ethical standards and integrity- Computer literate (Microsoft)- Commercial awareness- Driving license- Time management and prioritization skills
Further informationThe role does require some interstate travel to NSW, typically 1-2 days at a time.Training will be provided on AS40842023 standards, systems and tolerances.No VISA on offer / Aus working rights essential.
