Painting Trades Person

CHE QLD is seeking a highly qualified and experienced PAINTING TRADES PERSON to join their team of professionals on a full-time and permanent basis.
The role includes but is not limited to:
Understand surface preparation and finishes. Complete works to specifications. Mix to correct ratio two-part paint coatings. Select paints, varnishes, and stains for various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers. Utilize Wet Film Thickness Gauges to achieve specified dry film thickness. Work at heights and in confined spaces. Erect scaffolding and ladders. Clean equipment and work areas. Blast trailers and trucks. Paint two packs of paint on trucks and trailers. Desirable traits that will be highly regarded:
Trade Certificate – Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent (for Blaster/Painters). Construction Induction (White or Blue Card). High Risk Licence for EWP and/or Forklift. Trade Qualifications in Protective Coatings (ACA, NACE, ICorr, or other trade certs). Drivers Licence (MR or HR class). Salary: Between $70,000 and $75,000 per annum + Super
